I began this painting with the intention of depicting an underwater environment devoid of life, reflecting my concerns about marine habitats in decline. But as I worked, colors emerged, and forms began to take shape, almost as if life itself were pushing through. I found myself instinctively adding vibrant shades and intricate details, and the scene transformed into a lively, thriving habitat. 
Through this process, I realized that this piece speaks to the resilience of marine ecosystems. It reflects my hope that, with care and preservation, we can protect these precious environments and nurture them back to greater abundance. My goal is to inspire viewers to consider the life that still exists beneath the surface and to envision a future where even more can flourish.
